one thing that makes me so mad is spending $50 on a set of acrylics and they aren't done correctly. we took my sister to have her nails done for her dance on friday. all except 3 have just FALLEN OFF. they were sticking up very high & did not look natural & a few of them were very crooked. she said something about it to the woman & the woman says "that's because of your nails, your nails are crooked and they stick up so they are supposed to be like that." then i call & tell them what happened & they say "well we can redo them for her" like i'm sorry but if you can't do them correctly why would we come back?
She did a horrible job shaping my nails and didn't put the effort into smoothing my nails after buffing them.
I went in to treat myself and get help for my sad cuticles. She asked me how i wanted them shaped I said, "Blunt with rounded corners?" She said, "Rounded?" I gave up, didn't want to put in the effort to overcome the language barrier.
Been going to NV Nails for almost 2 years. Their gel nail polish lasts the longest I've ever had. Best eye brow waxing and threading in the area. I drive over 30 minutes to get my nails done at NV because they are friendly and my nails turn out great every time! Call ahead if your in a hurry and Jon will make sure you are taken care of when you get there.
The last straw for me was the streaks in the polish. Why would I want this on my nails for weeks? It was awful. Shamefully, I didn't speak up and actually paid for it.
Ugh! I'm just done.
The reshaping is not such a big deal. I can reshape. But she grinded my polish instead of getting her manicure messed up by actually touching the acetone.
She was really rude to me and told me that my nails looked awful and I need to get them done more
I chose a nail color, they pressured me into gel polish. Said it lasts for weeks.
My last visit here was horrendous! I have been here a lot and the only thing I usually have to deal with is rude service. They're very snippy! O and I usually have to bring cash because they don't want to run their card machine (my guess is they get charged for using it). Not my problem! I am the customer! Anyway, I went in and asked if there would be a wait because I saw two women sitting there and they told me that it wouldn't be long. They only told me that to get me in the nail chair, so I could sit there for an HOUR AND A HALF!! I would have left, but John roughed my nails up and let me sit there for 45 min while he took care of other customers. Meanwhile they were telling other walk ins that they could take them too! How?!? Not to mention they lied about the card machine about being down that night and then trying to overcharge me. I mean really?!? An hour and a half wait and I was still treated rudely! I will not be giving them anymore of my money. I will be looking for a new nail place too!
Now, I am left with leftover gel nail polish (that I paid extra to have removed), and textured nails that I will have to reshape.
I returned after a few days and and said I wasn't happy with my manicure. The lady who I assume is a the owner said, "you want another manicure?" I agreed thinking she was going to make up for the 1st bad job. Nope, she did a worse job, not just with shaping my nails but also removing the gel. When I complained about the shape and the texture on my nails, she said, "I don't know what you want, I can't smooth it down more because it will make it too thin. Then she charged me for the manicure and gel remover. I tried to stand up for myself but she was so rude and just argued and spoke over top of me.
