This place seems like they have it together, but only 1 or 2 people know how to actually cut hair. This woman didn’t give me anything like what I wanted, shaved a bald spot in the back of my head, the hair in near my crown is longer than the top and front, and now I look like pin head Larry. It is also not the first time this has happened. You should only let the owner cut your hair, she’s the only one with any experience.
To add to the entire experience, a woman who walked in was given much more pleasant conversation, listened to what she wanted, and just seemed better looked after. It definitely felt like preferential treatment -- but maybe just because she had an appointment and I was a walk-in, perhaps.
I got a quick buzz in the back and sides, a single pass around to blend it in, and a straight line chopped down the front. Again, this is fine, except the entire process seemed rushed (maybe because there was someone walked in right after me?) I wanted to ask her to slow down, but felt that would have been rude. I've never felt like I've been a "rush job" anywhere else, though.
Even at the end, when trimming the hair around the neck line, the approach was "take off the cover and just throw the cut hair backwards" -- in a somewhat exaggerated manner, too. It was odd. And there's hair all over my sweater now, but that's just a minor inconvenience. And no mirror was offered to see how it looked from behind--also somewhat baffling.
Won't be returning.
In the end, I don't actually hate my haircut, which is why I'm giving it 2 stars. Still, it felt rushed, had to re-explain what I wanted multiple times (would be nice if she had a picture of what she was going to do before beginning chopping), and in general just felt not as well looked after.

In the end, it was only a $20 haircut, so it wasn't overly expensive. Still, when paying $20, I expect a bit more attention to detail and actually listen to what I want. I felt like my haircut was faster and less polished than I'd get at a SuperCuts or a big chain, cheap chain.
I was a walk-in and they were able to squeeze me in with only a few minute wait -- but besides me, the place was empty at 4pm.

The hairdresser was a nice enough woman, but only asked one question at the beginning, and then re-asked questions throughout the haircut. Which is fine, but it was also very clear she was not listening to my initial request, nor was she going beyond the "generic male haircut #2" approach.
As a male with light (and thinning) blonde hair, I realize I'm not the easiest hair cut.
