We scheduled an appointment with the Orthopedic Department at Ruby expecting to see Dr Emery again. Instead of Dr Emery, we were scheduled with Dr Lynch.

Dr. Lynch is one of the best Specialist in the State of West Virginia, his staff is excellent and really care for there patients. Dr. Lynch has been my Physician for about 3 years and I've never had a bad experience. His facility has a wide variety of treatment options available, he takes plenty of time to listen and talk with you to find out the best course of treatment for you...Highly Recommend

This guy literally walked out of the room while i was still trying to explain what i was feeling. I cant sit nor stand for over about 15 minutes. I made a three hour trip (each way) in an ambulance and he didnt spend more than 5 total minutes with me. Took some shotty xrays and said go to physical therapy. Ive already tried PT for months. It didnt help my problem. I thought I was going to a specialist and that he could/ would try to help me. I was wrong. He didnt even tell me why i had the pain nor why i should go back to PT! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM

An appointment was made for an MRI at Ruby Memorial on Monday March 27, at 1:15 PM with a followup appointment with Dr Lynch at 3:00. The technicians had to take longer for the MRI because of the Titanium plate in her neck.

My advice to potential patients.......... if you can't see Dr Emery, go somewhere else.

When I called Dr Lynch's office to let them know we would be about 15 minutes late, I was told that we would have to reschedule!! I explained that we lived 160 miles from Morgantown and I had taken the day off work to bring her, but I was told that Dr Lynch would absolutely not see her if she could not be there at 3:00. They had other patients to see besides my wife!

In late 2016, she began to experience numbness in her right hand again which has gradually increased in intensity until she can barely hold a cup or glass. She has difficulty sleeping because of pain in her right neck and shoulder.

The receptionist was very short and did not seem to really care if we rescheduled or not. My wife was very upset and is still in pain. Our primary care physician is working on a referral to another doctor.

We saw Dr Lynch for an initial exam and an X-ray of her cervical vertebrae was exposed. Dr Lynch told us that everything appeared within normal limits but an MRI would be needed for a more thorough diagnosis.

I should have reminded her that on our initial visit to Dr Lynch's office we were placed in an operatory right on time........and then sat there for nearly 45 minutes before Dr Lynch came in!! ( I was so bored that I deleted over 300 emails from my phone!). Being a health care provider myself, I can surely relate to the problem of rarely being able to stay on a strict schedule. But I would never refuse to see one of my patients that was 15 minutes late when I am often off schedule myself.

My wife suffered a severe neck injury in an automobile accident. She endured the increasing pain and numbness in her hand until 2005 when Dr Sanford Emery of West Virginia University Hospitals fused four of her cervical vertebrae using bone from the Iliac Crest of her hip and a titanium plate. The pain and numbness were gone in the recovery room!! We will be eternally grateful to Dr Emery and his very compassionate and caring attitude.
