It's a very nice place for a walk, full of paths in the woods and a nice overlook area.
I go hiking there all the time . It's s great place to be ..
Mostly a gravel path where tractors can get back there to maintain the wildlife tree preserve they have going on towards the back. Grass along the path is unkept, so I'd advise to wear long pants or gators. I went alone to check it out first and good thing. My little ones would have been bored to death. Lots of trees, some birds. There is a big rock cliff towards the back off the trail, but was meh. Lots of horse and dog poop, do watch your step. Very quiet, hardly any other people. Trail is not marked, but used All Trails map to verify my path. No AT&T cell service.
This area has some wonderful hiking trails that run throughout logging roads. The views, if you can find them, are spectacular and exceed those of Cooper's Rock, a much more popular hiking area the locals go to.
I didn't realize how much area was here. The dog was tired... which is saying something. Plan to go back and explore trails not taken yet. I would recommend trail map app or compass if you're new to hiking.
